How to Install ImunifyAV on WHM Servers

3. How to Install ImunifyAV


Follow the steps below to install ImunifyAV on your WHM server:


Step 1: Log in to WHM


Log in as the root user or a reseller account with root-level privileges.


Step 2: Open Security Advisor


Navigate to:

Step 3: Start the Installation


Find the alert labeled Install ImunifyAV to scan your websites for malware and click Install ImunifyAV.


Important Notes:


If the installation alert does not appear, one of the following conditions may apply:


  • Your server does not support ImunifyAV.
  • You are using a trial (evaluation) license.
  • You are not logged in as root or a reseller with root privileges.

Step 4: Installation Progress


A new tab will open showing the installation status. The process may take several minutes.


Step 5: Installation Complete


Once finished, a success message will appear. You may close the tab or click Go back.
