1. Overview

The Site Quality Monitoring interface (cPanel » Home » Metrics » Site Quality Monitoring) provides monitoring subscriptions that help you track website issues and optimize performance. This document explains how to manage these subscriptions and how to remove Site Publisher–generated websites.

Important: Subscriptions are only available if your hosting provider enables WebPros International LLC to offer them.

2. Free Subscription Provisions

  • Each user receives one Free subscription.
  • When you upgrade your Free subscription, the system automatically grants you another Free subscription.
  • A Free subscription allows monitoring of one root domain and one associated URL.

3. Maximum Subscription Limits

  • You can monitor up to ten websites at a time.
  • The Free subscription does not count toward this limit.
  • If you are already monitoring ten websites, you cannot upgrade your Free subscription.

4. Managing a Site Quality Monitoring Subscription

4.1 Upgrade a Subscription

You can upgrade a subscription to increase monitoring capabilities, such as enabling additional monitoring extensions in the Extras tab.

You can upgrade through:

  • The Upgrade subscription option
  • The Integrations tab

4.2 Downgrade a Subscription

To downgrade a subscription:

  1. Remove the website from Site Quality Monitoring.
  2. Add the website again.

The system will automatically assign a Free subscription, which you may upgrade later.

4.3 Assign an Unassigned Subscription

If you remove a monitored website but do not cancel its subscription, the subscription becomes unassigned.

To assign it to another website:

  1. Open the User settings menu.
  2. Click Manage subscriptions.
  3. Select Monitor new website for the subscription you want to assign.
  4. Enter the website details.
  5. Click Save.

5. Access Site Quality Monitoring Without cPanel

If you cannot access cPanel, you can log in directly through the Site Quality Monitoring website.

Steps:

  1. Visit the Site Quality Monitoring login page.
  2. Click Forgot password?
  3. Enter the email address used during signup.
  4. Click Reset your password.
  5. Create a new password.
  6. Log in to access your dashboard.

6. How to Remove a Site Publisher Website

Warning: The Site Publisher interface was removed in cPanel & WHM version 134.

Site Publisher allowed users to create temporary websites. When replacing a Site Publisher site with a permanent website, you must manually remove the generated files.

6.1 Remove Site Publisher–Generated Files

  1. Open:
cPanel » Home » Domains » Site Publisher
  2. Select the domain or subdomain.
  3. Click the Website Directory to open File Manager.
  4. Delete the following files and directories (replace username with the account username):
    /home/username/site_publisher/
    /home/username/public_html/assets/
    /home/username/public_html/css/
    /home/username/public_html/font-awesome/
    /home/username/public_html/img/
    /home/username/public_html/js/
    /home/username/public_html/COPYRIGHT
    /home/username/public_html/LICENSE.txt
    /home/username/public_html/sitemap.xml
    /home/username/public_html/index.html

Warning: If your new website uses any of the same directory names (e.g., css, img), do not delete the entire directory. Instead, remove only the Site Publisher–generated files. Use file timestamps to identify them.

Conclusion

This guide covers all essential steps for managing Site Quality Monitoring subscriptions and removing Site Publisher–generated websites. By following these instructions, you can maintain clean hosting environments and ensure accurate monitoring of your websites.
