How to Purchase and Install CloudLinux in WHM

1. Introduction to CloudLinux

CloudLinux is a secure and optimized version of Linux designed for shared hosting environments. cPanel & WHM servers allow you to purchase and install CloudLinux directly from WHM.

Note:

Hosting providers can disable the CloudLinux alert in Manage2.

2. Purchase a CloudLinux License from WHM

Step 1: Log in to WHM

Log in as the root user or a reseller with root-level privileges.

Step 2: Open the Home Interface

Navigate to:

WHM » Home

Note:

You can also find the CloudLinux installation option in:

• WHM » Home » Software » MultiPHP Manager
• WHM » Home » Software » EasyApache 4 (under PHP Versions)

Step 3: Start the Purchase

Click Upgrade to CloudLinux at the top of the Home interface.

Important:

If the CloudLinux banner does not appear, one of the following may apply:

• Your server does not support CloudLinux.
• Your hosting provider disabled CloudLinux purchases.
• Your server cannot connect to the cPanel Store.

Step 4: Log in to the cPanel Store

If already logged in, verify your account details and click Allow Access.

Step 5: Complete the Purchase

The system automatically selects the correct license type and IP address. Review your order, accept the agreements, and click Pay Now.

After Purchase:

• A confirmation message appears.
• You receive an invoice via email.
• If issues occur, an error message will appear.

3. Install CloudLinux

After purchase, WHM automatically begins installing CloudLinux. When installation completes, a success message will appear.

4. Purchase Through Manage2

Important:

Only cPanel Partners can purchase CloudLinux licenses through Manage2.

Steps:

• Log in to Manage2.
• Navigate to Dashboard » Licenses » Add License.
• Enter the server IP, Group, and Package.
• Click Add License.

5. Purchase from the cPanel Store

Step 1: Log in

Go to:

Store » Extensions

Step 2: Add CloudLinux to Your Cart

• Click Order Now under CloudLinux.
• Select the license type (CloudLinux or CloudLinux for cPanel).
• Enter your server’s IP address.
• Click Continue.

Step 3: Complete the Purchase

Important: Monthly licenses require a stored primary credit card.

• Accept the EULA.
• Select a payment method: stored card, new card, or PayPal.
• Click Complete Order.

6. Install CloudLinux

After purchase, CloudLinux is ready to install. Follow the official CloudLinux installation documentation. After installation, the CloudLinux banner will no longer appear in MultiPHP Manager.
