How to Sign Up for a cPanel Trial License

1. Overview of the cPanel Trial License

New installations of cPanel & WHM qualify for a free 15‑day trial license. This allows administrators to explore the platform before purchasing a full license. During the trial period, the system collects behavioral data from the root account to improve the WHM interface for new users.

2. Activate Trial License During WHM Getting Started

You can activate the trial license directly inside WHM during the initial setup process.

Steps:

• Accept the End User License Agreement.
• Click Log in when the “Get Started with a Free cPanel Trial!” message appears.
• Log in to your cPanel Store account or create a new one.
• After successful login, WHM will show a green checkmark next to Activate Trial License.

Important Note:

You will receive an email confirming the 15‑day trial license. The trial is free and no charges apply.
