After the Fall, I Forgot You.
This dark valley became my kingdom— A throne over desolation, unmatched.
In these shadows, I laughed with the blind, Spun tales of the exiled king For those who could not hear.
And each night, I danced among the devils, Their revelry my own.
I surrendered all of my soul To the trader’s bargain— His promise was happiness, But even that, I did not desire.
A soulless ruler Over wastelands, Where all has been forgotten.
And now, each night, I am the only dancer upon my stage— Hoping to catch the gaze Of that blue angel From the fifth floor, The one they call The Owner.
