The sun Falls
The sun Falls lower and lower. The sky takes on the shade of understanding— Twilight has arrived.
I tremble like a willow, Afraid of the night, The shrill cry of the wind.
A sky heavy with clouds, Devoid of moonlight.
You ask, Are you lost? A dazed laugh.
How could you know the way From the stunned silence of the stars?
Their final glow faded long ago, Near the dawn of existence.
After the haze of morning, the desert— After watching the sunset,
I will step into the night. No path. No return.
